Peptidylprolyl isomerase A pseudogene 58 (PPIAP58) is a pseudogene related to peptidylprolyl isomerase A (cyclophilin A)[7]. Unlike the protein-coding gene PPIA (which encodes cyclophilin A, a peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase involved in protein folding, immune response, and viral infection), PPIAP58 does not encode a functional protein and does not participate directly in biological signaling or disease progression.
