Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type II beta (PIP4K2B) is a lipid kinase that predominantly localizes to nuclear and autophagosomal membranes, catalyzing the phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol 5-phosphate (PI(5)P) to generate phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PI(4,5)P₂).
