Phosphoinositide 3-kinase delta (PI3Kδ), also known as p110δ, is a lipid kinase that plays a crucial role in immune cell function, regulating cell growth, proliferation, differentiation, survival, and motility. It is highly expressed in leukocytes, particularly B cells and T cells, where it mediates signaling downstream of antigen receptors. Dysregulation of PI3Kδ is associated with immunodeficiency syndromes and cancer, making it an important therapeutic target.
