Phosphorylase kinase gamma 1 pseudogene 2 (PHKG1P2) is a pseudogene in the human genome, meaning it is a segment of DNA that is similar to the protein-coding gene phosphorylase kinase gamma 1 (PHKG1) but is nonfunctional. Pseudogenes, including PHKG1P2, do not code for functional proteins and usually do not have biological activity.
