Target intelligence / Profile preview
Pim kinases are a family of constitutively active serine/threonine kinases (Pim-1, Pim-2, and Pim-3) that regulate cell proliferation, survival, apoptosis, and migration. They are implicated in various cancers, especially hematologic malignancies and prostate cancer, making them attractive targets for anti-cancer drug development. Pim kinases act as cofactors for oncogenic transcription factors such as c-MYC.
