Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) signaling is a critical pathway that regulates cell growth, division, migration, and survival. It plays essential roles in embryonic development, tissue repair, angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels), and the pathogenesis of various diseases including cancer and fibrosis.
