No evidence of misspelling or conceptual error was found; "variant 1" accurately reflects the gene/protein as documented clinically and genomically[4]. There are currently no approved drugs targeting PF4V1 specifically, but its paralog PF4 is drug-interactive, and similar mechanisms may apply.
