Plexin-B1 is a transmembrane receptor protein belonging to the plexin family that plays crucial roles in various biological processes including neuronal guidance, cell migration, angiogenesis, and immune response. It serves as a high-affinity receptor for Semaphorin 4D (SEMA4D/CD100) and is implicated in several pathological conditions including cancer, idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, preeclampsia, and intracerebral hemorrhage.
