Target intelligence / Profile preview
PLS3 antisense RNA 1 (PLS3-AS1) is presumed to be a long non-coding RNA transcribed antisense to the Plastin-3 gene locus. Antisense lncRNAs such as PLS3-AS1 may function by modulating the expression of their paired sense genes, often influencing gene stability, transcription, or splicing. However, current literature and databases do not provide experimental, clinical, or disease association data specific to PLS3-AS1. This lack of functional characterization suggests that either the gene is poorly studied, incorrectly referenced, or its biological significance has not yet been reported[2][5].
