POGLUT2 pseudogene 1 (POGLUT2P1)

POGLUT2 pseudogene 1 (POGLUT2P1) is a non-transcribed processed pseudogene related to Protein O-glucosyltransferase 2. It is located within an intron of a sodium transporter gene on human chromosome 5. As a pseudogene, POGLUT2P1 does not encode a functional protein and lacks the biological activity present in the parent POGLUT2 gene.
