The poliovirus type 3 capsid protein antigen (Saukett strain) is a structural protein complex derived from the Saukett strain of poliovirus serotype 3. This antigen, composed of VP1, VP2, VP3, and VP4, is a key component in the formulation of inactivated polio vaccines, where it serves as the immunogenic target to elicit protective antibody responses against poliovirus type 3.
