Polo-like kinase 3 (PLK3) is a member of the polo-like kinase family of serine/threonine kinases. It plays critical roles in cell cycle regulation, particularly at multiple stages including G1/S transition, G2 phase, mitosis, and response to cellular stress such as DNA damage or mitotic spindle disruption.
