Potassium channel tetramerization domain-containing protein 10 (KCTD10) is a soluble, *non-channel* BTB/POZ domain-containing adapter protein that functions primarily as a substrate adaptor for Cullin3 (CUL3)-based E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, mediating targeted protein degradation[1][3][4]. Its N-terminal BTB domain enables oligomerization, protein-protein interactions, and direct binding to CUL3, forming heterodecameric E3 ligase complexes. KCTD10 has diverse roles, including regulation of protein degradation, modulation of cytoskeleton, lipid and cholesterol metabolism, signal transduction, and vascular remodeling. Recent studies indicate critical functions in cardiovascular health, influencing vascular smooth muscle proliferation, endothelial function, and inflammatory response, with a key role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and potential as a therapeutic target for vascular diseases[2].
