Aberrant expression of POU4F2 has been linked to accelerated tumor growth in breast cancer and to specific neurological and visual disorders[1][2][3]. The protein has not been directly targeted by therapeutics as of current knowledge, but its expression pattern can serve as a biomarker in certain cancers and developmental disorders[1].
