POU5F1P7 (POU class 5 homeobox 1 pseudogene 7) is a human pseudogene related to the POU class 5 family of homeobox genes, specifically homologous to POU5F1, which encodes the transcription factor OCT4. Unlike the functional POU5F1 (OCT4), POU5F1P7 is listed as a pseudogene and is not recognized as coding for a functional protein or as a therapeutic target.
