Target intelligence / Profile preview
PPP4R1 antisense RNA 1 (PPP4R1-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA transcribed on the antisense strand of the PPP4R1 gene locus at chromosome 18p11.22. It belongs to the lncRNA family, which commonly play roles in gene expression regulation, but detailed mechanistic function for PPP4R1-AS1 specifically has not been described in published sources. Disease association with depressive disorder has been reported, however there is no evidence that PPP4R1-AS1 serves as a therapeutic target, biomarker, or drug-interaction site to date[5][2][6].
