PRAME family member 19 (PRAMEF19) is a protein-coding gene in the human genome. It encodes a protein that belongs to the PRAME (Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma) family, known for leucine-rich repeat domains. Although its precise physiological role has not been experimentally established, PRAMEF19 is predicted to function as a ubiquitin-like ligase-substrate adaptor, likely participating in the Cul2-RING ubiquitin ligase complex and proteasome-mediated protein degradation pathways. Gene ontology suggests nuclear retinoic acid receptor binding, regulation of apoptotic processes, and transcriptional regulation as putative functions. While other PRAME family members have established roles in cancer, immune response, and germline development, there is currently no direct evidence implicating PRAMEF19 as a therapeutic target or as a biomarker in clinical practice[1][6][7][8].
