Overview

PRAME family member 27 (PRAMEF27) is a predicted protein encoded by the PRAMEF27 gene in humans. It is thought to act as a substrate adaptor in ubiquitin-like ligase complexes, likely participating in the proteasome-mediated ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation pathway. PRAMEF27 is predicted to be a component of the Cul2-RING ubiquitin ligase complex and to function in the cytoplasm. There are currently no known direct associations of PRAMEF27 with specific diseases, nor are there known drugs targeting this protein. It is distinct from the more widely studied PRAME antigen (PReferentially expressed Antigen in Melanoma) and currently, there is no evidence supporting its role as a therapeutic target or as a biomarker in clinical contexts[5].
