Overview
Pro-inflammatory cytokine production refers to the synthesis and secretion of a group of small signaling proteins, known as pro-inflammatory cytokines, by various immune and non-immune cells. These molecules play a central role in initiating and amplifying inflammatory responses in the body. Excessive or chronic production leads to pathological conditions.
