YJU2B, also referred to as Probable splicing factor YJU2B or coiled-coil domain-containing protein 130 (CCDC130), is a protein encoded by the human YJU2B gene. It is predicted to participate in RNA splicing processes, particularly as part of the U2-type spliceosomal complex and post-mRNA release spliceosomal complex, located in the nucleus[1][3][7][8]. Functional data suggest it may be involved in mRNA splicing, with potential roles in response to viral infection. Its protein structure includes a coiled-coil domain, but no molecular structure has been experimentally determined[8]. There is no clear evidence to date establishing YJU2B as a direct participant in disease or as a therapeutic target, nor is it a commonly used biomarker for diagnostic or monitoring purposes[3][8].
