Target intelligence / Profile preview
Proline rich 13 pseudogene 2 (PRR13P2) is a human pseudogene locus classified under noncoding DNA. Pseudogenes are genomic sequences with high homology to protein-coding genes but carry sequence disruptions (frameshifts, premature stop codons) preventing their translation into functional proteins[1][6][4][3]. PRR13P2 does not appear to be transcribed or play any recognized biological function. As with other pseudogenes, its presence reflects evolutionary genomic history, and it is not considered a drug discovery target, receptor, enzyme, or biomarker for disease or therapy[1][6][4].
