PRRG3 is a member of a family of vitamin K-dependent transmembrane proteins and may be involved in concentrating coagulation factors on the cell surface through its Gla domain, potentially accelerating wound healing and playing a role in blood coagulation[1][4][2]. The protein is predicted to participate in calcium ion binding and has been linked with hereditary deficiencies of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors[5]. Currently, there is no evidence designating PRRG3 as an established therapeutic target, nor are there approved drugs or biomarker roles reported for this gene.
