Proline-rich protein 5 (PRR5) is a regulatory protein encoded by the PRR5 gene, located on chromosome 22. It comprises a proline-rich domain and serves as an associated subunit of the mTORC2 (mammalian target of rapamycin complex 2), which is a key regulator of cell growth, survival, and cytoskeleton organization in response to growth factor signaling.
