Overview

Prostaglandin D2 Receptor 2 (DP2), also known as CRTh2, is a G protein-coupled receptor that binds prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). It is primarily expressed on immune cells such as Th2 lymphocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. Activation of DP2 by PGD2 promotes chemotaxis and activation of these cells, contributing to allergic inflammation and playing a role in diseases such as asthma.
