Target intelligence / Profile preview
PSMC1P6 (Proteasome 26S subunit, ATPase 1 pseudogene 6) is a human pseudogene. It is a non-coding genomic sequence related to genes encoding ATPase subunits of the 26S proteasome complex, an essential cellular machine for protein degradation. PSMC1P6 does not produce a functional protein product and therefore it does not participate in cellular activities such as protein turnover, cell cycle regulation, or immune response, which are known functions of active proteasome subunits like PSMC1.
