Target intelligence / Profile preview
Protein associated with LIN7 2, MAGUK p55 family member (PALS2) is a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, specifically the p55-like subfamily. PALS2 is a peripheral membrane protein thought to function in tumor suppression and receptor clustering by forming multiprotein complexes with transmembrane, cytoskeletal, and cytoplasmic signaling proteins. Although linked to certain neural and sensory disorders, there is currently no established role for PALS2 as a direct therapeutic target or biomarker[1][2][5][6].
