Target intelligence / Profile preview
Prothrombin complex protein (PCC) is a therapeutic preparation containing a combination of vitamin K-dependent blood coagulation factors, typically including factors II (prothrombin), VII, IX, and X, as well as proteins C and S. PCC is used primarily to reverse the effects of anticoagulant medications such as warfarin in patients experiencing acute major bleeding or requiring urgent surgery. It works by replenishing deficient clotting factors in the blood.
Replenishes deficient clotting factors, restoring the ability to form clots and control bleeding. Reverses elevated INR caused by vitamin K antagonists.
