Overview

PSD3 antisense RNA 1 (PSD3-AS1) is a putative non-coding RNA assigned as an antisense transcript to the PSD3 gene. There is no direct evidence in peer-reviewed literature for PSD3-AS1 as a characterized molecule, nor any data on its sequence, cellular expression, biological function, disease association, or involvement as a drug target. By contrast, PSD3 (protein-coding) is a known guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activator of ARF6, implicated in cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and the pathogenesis of cancer and fatty liver disease. The lack of structured functional, disease, or drug-related data for PSD3-AS1 makes it an unlikely therapeutic target and suggests either misannotation or the need for further foundational research[3][4][5].
