Psoriasis-associated non-protein coding RNA induced by stress (PRINS) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis and cellular stress responses. It is upregulated in response to cellular stress and regulates the expression of G1P3 (IFI6), an anti-apoptotic protein, thereby modulating keratinocyte survival. PRINS binds to nucleophosmin (NPM), impacting cellular response to environmental stress.
