Target intelligence / Profile preview
PTPRT divergent transcript (PTPRT-DT) is an RNA gene classified as a non-coding RNA, formally annotated as a divergent transcript from the PTPRT genomic locus[5]. This transcript does not encode a protein and is not itself a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or other classical therapeutic target. At present, there is no evidence in the literature to support a role for PTPRT-DT as a biomarker, therapeutic target, or as having any well-defined molecular function or disease association. Its exact biological function, if any, remains to be determined.
