Rap1 GTPase-activating protein 1 (RAP1GAP) is an enzyme that belongs to the Ras GTPase-activating protein family and functions as a specific negative regulator of the small GTPase Rap1[2]. It accelerates the intrinsic GTPase activity of Rap1, promoting the conversion of active GTP-bound Rap1 to its inactive GDP-bound state.
