Retinoic Acid-Related Orphan Receptor Alpha (RORα)

Target
RORα
Molecular classification
Nuclear hormone receptor, Transcription factor
01

Overview

RORα is a member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily and functions as a ligand-dependent transcription factor. It binds to ROR response elements (ROREs) and regulates gene expression involved in development, immune regulation, metabolism, and circadian rhythm.

Other names
RAR-related orphan receptor alphaNR1F1
