Overview

Ras homolog family member H (RhoH) is a small GTPase of the Ras superfamily, expressed specifically in hematopoietic cells where it functions as a negative regulator of cell growth and survival[1][3][7]. RhoH lacks intrinsic GTPase activity and remains constitutively active, acting as an antagonist of Rac signaling in hematopoietic lineages[3]. In T lymphocytes, it plays a critical adaptor role in T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling and is required for proper thymocyte development and immune function. Chromosomal translocations involving RHOH are associated with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and its deregulation/mutation is implicated in leukemia, lymphoma, and immunodeficiency syndromes[1][2][3][7].
