Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ras homolog family member Q pseudogene 3 (RHOQP3) is a noncoding pseudogene related to the active RHOQ gene. It does not produce a functional protein product and therefore does not directly influence biological processes or serve as a therapeutic target. The parent gene, RHOQ, encodes a Rho family GTPase involved in actin cytoskeleton organization, cell shape, motility, and vesicle trafficking[1]. However, RHOQP3 itself does not possess these properties.
