Ras-like protein family member 10B (RASL10B) is a recently identified member of the small GTPase family within the Ras superfamily, encoded by the gene on chromosome 17 (NCBI Gene ID 91608)[1][2][6]. The protein is approximately 203 amino acids (~23.2 kDa) and is widely expressed in human tissues, predominantly localized in the cytoplasm[1][2]. RASL10B is predicted to exhibit G protein activity and GTP binding, participating in intracellular signal transduction, positive regulation of peptide hormone secretion, and modulation of blood pressure via atrial natriuretic peptide release[2][1]. Notably, its mRNA is consistently down-regulated in breast cancer cell lines, suggesting a role as a putative tumor suppressor[1]. While its interactions and drug relationships are not extensively profiled, further studies are warranted to clarify its molecular partners, therapeutic relevance, and potential biomarker utility.
