Ras-related protein Rab-4A (RAB4A) is a member of the Ras superfamily of small GTPases that are essential regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking. RAB4A is primarily associated with early endosomes and mediates sorting and recycling of internalized receptors back to the plasma membrane.
