RASSF3 divergent transcript (RASSF3-DT) is a predicted non-coding RNA gene located near the RASSF3 locus on human chromosome 12 (chr12:64599078-64609459, hg38)[3]. It does not encode a protein and is not established as a receptor, enzyme, transporter, or recognized therapeutic target. There is currently no direct evidence for a functional biological role, association with disease, or clinical application for RASSF3-DT. It is distinct from the protein-coding RASSF3 gene, which is implicated in tumor suppression through p53-dependent apoptosis and cell cycle regulation[1][2]. RASSF3-DT appears primarily in gene annotation databases as an RNA feature without functional annotation[3][7].
