Target intelligence / Profile preview
ROR2 is a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase involved in the Wnt signaling pathway. It plays roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis. Overexpression of ROR2 has been observed in several carcinomas and is independent of patient age, gender, tumor type or differentiation status.
Antibody-drug conjugate targeting ROR2 delivers monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) to inhibit tubulin polymerization, leading to mitotic arrest and apoptosis in ROR2-expressing cells.
