Receptor tyrosine-protein kinase erbB (ErbB)

Target
ErbB
Molecular classification
Receptor, Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (RTK)
01

Overview

Receptor tyrosine-protein kinase erbB refers to a family of membrane-bound receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) known as the ErbB or HER family. These receptors play critical roles in cell signaling, growth, differentiation, and survival. The family includes four main members: ErbB1 (EGFR/HER1), ErbB2 (HER2/neu), ErbB3 (HER3), and ErbB4 (HER4). Dysregulation of these receptors is implicated in various cancers.
