Refilin-B (RFLNB) is a cytoskeletal-associated protein that binds filamin, an actin-binding protein, and is involved in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton, particularly the perinuclear actin network and nuclear shape[1][4][5][6]. It plays an essential role in organizing actin filament bundles and negatively regulates bone mineralization[1][4][6]. Current literature and public gene/protein databases do not identify Refilin-B as a druggable or therapeutic target, nor are there known drugs or established biomarker roles associated with this protein. Its primary biological significance is structural, via its interaction with filamin and regulation of the cytoskeleton and nuclear morphology[1][5][6].
