A relaxin expression stimulant refers to any molecule, compound, or biological agent that increases the expression of relaxin. Relaxin plays critical roles in reproductive physiology, cardiovascular function, tissue remodeling, and antifibrotic processes by binding to its cognate receptor RXFP1 and activating downstream signaling pathways. Stimulation of relaxin expression leads to increased VEGF production, MMP upregulation, and enhanced nitric oxide signaling.
Stimulates relaxin gene expression, leading to increased relaxin production and activation of RXFP1 signaling pathways (cAMP/PKA, PI3K/Akt/PKCζ, ERK/MAPK).
