Target intelligence / Profile preview
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) antigens primarily refer to the viral surface glycoproteins that are recognized by the host immune system and targeted by neutralizing antibodies. The two major RSV antigens are the Fusion (F) glycoprotein and the Attachment (G) glycoprotein. Both play critical roles in viral entry and pathogenesis, and are central to vaccine development, diagnostics, and therapeutic targeting.
Neutralizing antibody; prevents viral attachment and/or fusion
