Rho GTPase activating protein 33 pseudogene refers to a non-protein-coding, presumably non-functional genomic locus related to the protein-coding gene Rho GTPase activating protein 33 (ARHGAP33). The canonical ARHGAP33 gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family involved in intracellular trafficking and regulation of glucose transport[3][5][9][10]. However, the pseudogene version does not produce a functional protein product and has no known biological or disease relevance. There are no established aliases or drug interactions for this locus. By convention, pseudogenes are not considered therapeutic targets.
