Target intelligence / Profile preview
Rhophilin Associated Tail Protein 1 (ROPN1) promotes cell motility and is overexpressed in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), where it promotes migration, invasion, and metastasis. ROPN1 activates the RhoA pathway and enhances actin stress fiber formation. It is associated with poor prognosis in breast cancer and has been identified as a cancer-testis antigen. ROPN1 may be involved in sperm motility.
