Ribonucleotide reductase M2 polypeptide pseudogene 4 (RRM2P4) is a human pseudogene located in the genome, sharing sequence similarity with the functional RRM2 gene that encodes a subunit of ribonucleotide reductase, a key enzyme for DNA synthesis and repair[6][1][4]. Unlike functional RRM2, RRM2P4 does not produce a protein and has no known role in normal biology or disease[6][1]. It is not considered a drug target and has no direct implication in clinical or therapeutic contexts. Most references to RRM2P4 are limited to annotations in genomic databases[6][1][4].
