Pseudogenes like RPL12P21 are non-functional genomic segments that resemble protein-coding genes but typically lack the ability to encode functional proteins due to accumulated mutations[1][3]. There is no evidence that RPL12P21 is expressed or has any established biological, disease, or therapeutic relevance in humans.
