Ribosomal protein L12 pseudogene 46 (RPL12P46)

Ribosomal protein L12 pseudogene 46 (RPL12P46) is a processed pseudogene that is derived from the functional RPL12 gene, which encodes a component of the 60S ribosomal subunit involved in protein synthesis. However, as a pseudogene, RPL12P46 does not encode a functional protein product and is not known to exert any direct biological or therapeutic effect.
