Ribosomal protein L21 pseudogene 15 (RPL21P15) is a human pseudogene that shares sequence similarity with the ribosomal protein L21 (RPL21) gene, which encodes a structural component of the 60S subunit of the eukaryotic ribosome[7]. As a pseudogene, RPL21P15 does not code for a functional protein and is generally considered non-coding and biologically inactive in terms of classic gene function.
