Ribosomal protein L32 pseudogene 28 is a member of the ribosomal protein L32 pseudogene family. Pseudogenes are genomic DNA fragments similar to normal genes but are non-functional; they generally arise from duplication or retrotransposition events. It exists as a DNA sequence artifact related to the RPL32 gene family, with no evidence for functional activity or clinical relevance[7][8].
