Target intelligence / Profile preview
Ribosomal protein L36 pseudogene 14 (RPL36P14) is a processed human pseudogene located on chromosome 9 (9q31.3). It shares sequence similarity with the functional ribosomal protein gene RPL36, which encodes a structural component of the 60S large ribosomal subunit, but RPL36P14 itself does not produce a functional protein and is not known to have a direct biological function or disease association. Because it is a pseudogene, RPL36P14 is not considered a therapeutic or pharmacological target, and no drugs or biomarkers are associated with it.
